"The energy here is incredible. My son attended the summer camp and came home every single day completely exhausted but buzzing with excitement. The biggest reason we love this place is the staff — they deeply care about these kids. They focus on way more than Jiu-Jitsu technique, actively mentoring them, teaching confidence, respect, and how to be great teammates. Exactly the kind of high-character role models you want your kids around."

"We had been to several gyms searching for the right martial arts program for our kids. One evening Sensei Xande stepped in to teach the kids class. He spoke about the tasks in your day that help you achieve greatness, starting with making your bed. I was sold. The drive is 30 minutes longer than where we were, but it is worth it. The kids have 'homework' that helps them become better humans, not just better athletes."

"My daughters had an excellent experience here. The facility is clean, spacious, and very well maintained — an ideal environment for serious training. The professors and coaches are truly top notch: highly skilled, professional, and incredibly welcoming. They are some of the nicest people you will meet on the mats. I would highly recommend this academy to anyone looking for high-level instruction in a friendly, supportive atmosphere."

The Six Blades Method

Every class follows Xande Ribeiro's proven curriculum — taught to one standard on every mat so you always know what to work on.

World-class lineage

Led by Professor Xande Ribeiro, 6th-degree black belt under Saulo Ribeiro — 7x World Champion and IBJJF Hall of Famer, and the founder of the Six Blades method.

Real community

You will know names by your second week. Most parents say the room is the reason their kids stayed.

What jiu-jitsu gives you

More than a workout.

Kids rarely come to jiu jitsu for activity alone. They come for something that asks all of them — and gives back more confidence and discipline than anyone expected.

Real self-defense

Practical skill built on leverage and technique — not size or strength.

Confidence that carries

The calm of knowing they can handle themselves follows them off the mat.

Full-body fitness

Strength, conditioning and discipline — without it ever feeling like a chore.

Sharper mind

Absorbing, chess-like problem solving that builds focus and patience.

For every body

All ages and sizes — sustainable for decades. Kids start exactly where they are.

Stress relief

An hour where the only thing that exists is the next move. Kids leave calmer and more energized.

Questions, answered

Everything parents ask.

Does my child need any experience? +
None at all. Most kids walk in having never trained jiu-jitsu, and every class is structured so they can follow from day one.
My child already trains. Is this a good fit? +
Absolutely. We coach every level with a structured curriculum and strong training partners across the belts. Kids with experience and visiting students are always welcome on the mat.
Can my child do this if they are shy or not athletic? +
Yes. Jiu-jitsu runs on leverage and technique, not size or athleticism. Our classes are built for every personality and body type, and your child progresses at their own pace.
What should my child wear and bring to their first class? +
Just comfortable athletic clothes. We provide everything else they need for their first class.
How much does membership cost? +
We are not the cheapest academy in town — and that is intentional. We invest heavily in world-class coaching, a clean facility, and a culture focused on helping kids become confident, capable people. Their first class is free and we will walk you through the options in person. No pressure.
Am I locked into a contract? +
No. Membership is month to month. Your child stays because they want to — never because you are locked in.
What happens at my child's free class? +
They will be welcomed, paired with a coach, and walked through the basics in a structured, supervised class. No pressure to sign up — just come see if it is a fit.
